My Heroes
On this page I was going to discuss various jazz musicians which the general public may not be very familiar with but whose contributions to the music are immense.
Jazz music is a language. There are certain players who are able to take in the language as it is spoken in their time and give us valuable expansions to the language. This is a page for them. It is my small way to pay respect to the great masters who have given us som many hip sounds!
My First Hero is going to be Wellman Braud, bassist in the Duke Ellington band from 1926 to 1935.
